Day 15 - 21/04/2018 - Hoi An to Hanoi
This was our final morning in Hoi An before we flew to Hanoi. Not sure if anyone else does this or if we are just strange but we sat at the same table in the restaurant for breakfast each day of our stay here....I even sat in the same seat each day, the others did change a couple of times, so maybe I am strangest of all!!!
Unfortunately the tour guide was a little strange, wandering and looking around almost as if he were lost and he walked so slow I felt like I was walking on the spot. I think he was trying to drag it out and make the tour take up time. At one stage the kids realised we had actually just walked around the block almost back to where we were for the next stop. Unfortunately the guide did not take us to the places as mentioned in the tour that I had booked and paid for which was very disappointing. We should of experienced more including the strange things served up on skewers as well as other skewers, some noodles and also an ice cream parlour. As we are supposed to be having the same guide tomorrow we decided that we would see if it was possible to have it changed I felt really bad but another day with this guy would be torturous. Thankfully we received a phone call an hour later with a new guide arranged for tomorrow.

Tonight we went on a street food tour in Hanoi.
These spring rolls cooked on the side of the street were delicious
We met an Irishman while sitting at this pop up beer stall who told us that late at night when you can hear the sound of the bell, indicating the policeman coming around, this lady grabs her sign and disappears inside a door nearby.
